It's a big pain in the butt to keep entering the number of calories and other nutritional information one by one, FoodScanner definitely helps makes it easier and faster.

New South Park Game Hits the App Store
A new South Park game is available at the iTunes App store for the
iPod Touch and iPhone.
The game is called "Mega Millionaire" and is about a Japanese game show where Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Cartman have to rollerskate through stages to win 10,000 yen (not a lot of money).
"Mega Millionaire" features 24 stages designed in South Park fashion
and allows for multiplayer challenges via pass-and-play. It's
available now for $4.99.

Sony Ericsson MH 907 Motion Activated Headphones
The Sony Ericsson MH907 headphones are motion activated. So if you're listening to music and take them out of your ear, your music is paused. If you get an incoming call on your Sony Ericsson phone, just unplug one side to answer. Too bad it only works with Sony Ericsson phones. Released as part of Guinness's 250th Anniversary, the Guinness Pub Finder uses GPS on the iPhone to locate the nearest pub that serves Guinness. Here are the full list of features:

Maker's Mark Sues Jose Cuervo
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Maker's Mark Distillery has filed a federal lawsuit accusing some competitors of a trademark infringement by allegedly copying the Kentucky bourbon maker's famous red wax seal.
The suit filed this week in Louisville names the maker of the high-end tequila Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia as a defendant, along with Diageo North America Inc., which distributes the tequila in the United States.
Maker's Mark claims the red wax coating on the tequila has spurred purchases by some people who mistakenly think the product is connected with Maker's Mark.
Attorneys for the defendants declined comment Friday, saying they haven't thoroughly reviewed the suit.

iPhone Firmware 3.1 Now Available
iPhone firmware version 3.1 is now available for download on iTunes.
It'll have Genius recommendations for iTunes, Genius mixes, ability to download ringtones wirelessly, and will allow users to organize apps through iTunes.
Here are the rest of the features:
- Improved syncing for music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, and photos1
- iTunes U content organization1
- Redeem iTunes Gift Cards, codes, and certificates in the App Store
- Display available iTunes account credits in the App Store and iTunes Store
- Save video from Mail and MMS into Camera Roll
- Option to "Save as new clip" when trimming a video on iPhone 3GS

New Cheaper, Faster, Bigger, Video Recording iPods
The new iPod Touch will run Open GL ES 2.0, the same as the iPhone 3GS. It'll be twice as fast, with a catch. The 8GB one that will now sell for $199 will be running the same old processor. The new 32 and 64 GB Touches will be running Open GL ES 2.0. So the 8 GB model stays the same with a price drop, other get an upgrade.
The iPod Classic will receive an upgrade. The $250 125 GB iPod Classic will now be upgraded to 160 GB for the same price.
The list of headphones available for the Shuffle will be updated to include Dr. Dre's Beats headphones (for anyone not broke after buying a new iPod, obviously).
The iPod Shuffle will come in some new colors and will receive a price drop, 2 GB for $59, 4 GB for $79. A special edition 4 GB model with polished steel will also be available for $99.
New iPod Nano will be priced at $149 for 8 GB and $179 for 16 GB. They'll have cameras for recording video. From what it looks like, it won't take pictures, which is weird. Here's details on the video recording:- H.264 VGA video, 640 x 480 pixels, up to 30 frames per second with AAC audio
- 15 real-time special effects: Sepia, Black and White, X-Ray, Film Grain, Thermal, Security Cam, Cyborg, Bulge, Kaleido, Motion Blur, Mirror, Light Tunnel, Dent, Stretch, and Twirl
Two added features are the voice recorder and a pedometer with Nike + built in. The new iPod Nano's will be available today. It will also have genius mix enabled and FM radio. [Gizmodo]
iTunes 9.0 Available Today!
The new iTunes update will allow iPhone and iPod touch users to arrange their apps before they sync to their device.
You'll also be able to share content links through facebook and twitter.
New content will be available for music and videos purchased through the iTunes store. Liner notes, booklets, interactive dvd-type features will come along with purchases.
There is also a share from home feature that allows you to drag a song from another user's library into your library.
You won't see it in the software update right away, but you can download iTunes 9 here. [Gizmodo]

MMS Finally Coming to iPhone on September 25th
News from AT&T says that MMS will be available on the iPhone 3G and 3GS beginning September 25th via a software update.
The date is September 25th, which does indeed fall a few days past the official end of summer. It was important to give our customers a positive experience from day one. We support more iPhone customers than any other carrier in the world so we took the time necessary to make sure our network is ready to handle what we expect will be a record volume of MMS traffic. We truly appreciate our customers' patience and hope they'll understand our desire to get it right from the start.
The service will be enabled with a software update on the launch date. Customers can obtain the update from iTunes, just like all other iPhone updates.
As for tethering, by its nature, this function could exponentially increase traffic on the network, and we need to ensure that some of our current upgrades are in place before we can deliver the expanded functionality with the excellent performance that customers expect.
