Picture of a Final Fantasy XIII disc in an XBOX 360. Too bad it's only been released for PS3 so far in Japan. The game was released today in Japan and is coming to North America in March (PS3 ONLY).

Microsoft Using Little Big Planet Music

As usual, because Microsoft has no creativity, they just steal from their competitors. Above is a ad for Microsoft's XBox 360. It uses the theme music for Little Big Planet, a Playstation 3 ONLY game.
Given that the song isn't exclusive to the game, Microsoft did nothing legally wrong by using the Brit band The Go! Team's music. But it's pretty ridiculous that they can't find or use their own exclusive games' music. [Kotaku]

BUY ME: Batman: Arkham Asylum

Batman: Arkham Asylum's final release date has been set to August 28. Hopefully it won't be pushed back any further. So it's time to check out what bonus goodies you can get for this game.
First off, the game has a collector's edition that includes a 14" Batarang along with:
* Arkham Doctor’s Journal
* 48 pages of notes on Arkham’s inmates
* Embossed leather dust jacket
* 2 Sleeve Digi-pack, including:
* Game disc
* Behind-the-scenes DVD
But the extras don't end there. Depending on where you buy the game, you can get some bonus material.

On Amazon (only in America) you can get a limited edition comic book that serves as a prequel to the game.

The Road to Arkham is a 16-page comic written by Alan Burnett, illustrated by Carlos D'Anda and produced by DC Comics specifically for the launch of Batman: Arkham Asylum.The Road to Arkham Story:
Batman has captured his greatest foe, The Joker, and is escorting him to Arkham Asylum, Gotham City's home for the criminally insane. But a series of anonymous tips has put Batman on alert; still, he does not realize that he is speeding toward the darkest journey of his life, one that will test all of his abilities in the chaotic depths of Arkham Island.
If you're going to go to your local Gamestop, or buying it online from them, you can get an bonus in-game challenge map involving the Scarecrow called "Dem Bones." You'll also get a "Time Alley" challenge map that can be unlocked using an exclusive code.
Also, as mentioned before, if you have any trouble deciding what console to get the game for (360 or PS3), remember that in the Playstation 3 version, you will be able to play as the joker. That makes the decision quite simple.

Microsoft's Project Natal

At E3 today, Microsoft unveiled the new Project Natal. It basically eliminates (or tries to) the need for the controller. Hence, you are your character and the character moves just as you move. Check out the video click for it in action. The video looks amazing. But we'll have to wait to see how it works in real life to determine if it really is that great.
I like the fact that you can use your own stuff in the video game, but if you can use your own stuff, why not just go skateboarding instead of skateboarding in a video game? Also, I see a lot of furniture being broken with this thing. Not just TVs like with the Wii controller.
I also liked the Chuck Norris trick question.
The project was named Natal for a city in Brazil where the lead developer is from.
"Alex Kipman, who incubated the project and is from Brazil, chose Natal, a city along the northeastern coast of Brazil, as a tribute to his country. In addition, he knew that Natal also means "to be born" in Latin. Given the new audiences "Project Natal" will bring to Xbox 360, this felt right." [Kotaku]
