Jorge Posada hit a 2 run home run against the Indians to take a 4-3 lead in the 7th inning. The ball hit the top of the outfield wall, had fans reaching out over it and Trevor Crowe trying to catch it. It was initially ruled a home run and then confirmed by the instant replay. It's hard to tell whether or not the replay had any value to the decision. It was a tough call even if you saw it 100 times. Either way, it hit the top of the wall and was ruled a home run.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Umpires used the first video review of the season to rule that Jorge Posada's drive to right field was a home run in the Yankees' game against the Cleveland Indians.
Posada was pinch hitting Sunday when he sent a fly to right off Jensen Lewis.
Indians manager Eric Wedge came out to dispute the call. The umpires then convened for several minutes before going to the video room through the visitors' dugout. They returned and summoned both managers to explain the decision.
