Window Shop with Google on Your Mobile Phone

Google is launching a way for customers to check out stores and restaurants on their mobile phones. Basically, Google searched out the top 100,000 or so places (physical locations only) that users search for on Google. They then sent them a QR code (image above). Mobile phone users can then scan that code using various apps across multiple phones (including iPhone, Blackberry and of course, Android) to get information about what the store sells, how much it cost and other information. Google Drops Prices for Online Storage Space

If you're looking to expand online storage, check out Google. They recently dropped the prices for online storage. Prices now start from $5 a year. It's great for Picasa users that like to share pictures online without having to put them up on Facebook for everyone to see. Google Tasks has been around for a while, but over time it has become spread out through gmail, Google calendar, and mobile. Good for writing down tasks or taking notes.

More Companies Need to "Go Google"

Microsoft Office is so frustrating. Companies need to "go Google" if they want to be truly efficient in the workplace.

Even if this was to mean that every time a reply all email was condensed into one message instead of 390478283904 of them, it would totally be worth it.
