After the recent StarPlayr failure, Sirius will apparently continue to try to bring a streaming app to the iPhone. Says Sirus CEO Mel Karmazin:
"by streaming its music, sports and talk channels to users of the iPhone and iPod Touch, Sirius can give its existing subscribers another way to access content and let new customers sign up without buying new radios"
Hopefully we can now take Chris "Mad Dog" Russo (and Mr. Steve Torre's sound byte) on the go with us along with all that other Sirus XM programming.
Hopefully something will be made available by Spring. Just in time for every NFL game on Sirius! [image via Larry FireWire]
