Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Is Now A Tier 1 School of Law

The U.S. News and World Report's Law School Rankings for 2010, scheduled to be released tomorrow, were leaked over the weekend, and it contains some good news - but I'll get to that in a bit. The best five schools are unchanged from last year with Yale taking the top spot, followed, in order, by Harvard, Stanford (dropped to third from a second place tie), Columbia and NYU. Other notables include Michigan at #9; Boston University at #20; Boston College at #26; good ol' Fordham University at #30; American University at #45; and Penn State University still stuck in Tier 2 (i.e. ranks 51-100) at #65.

On to the good news: The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University finally cracked the top tier of law schools (following last year's unexpected drop) making this year's fourth highest jump, six spots to #49. This bodes well for those of you (whoever you are!) graduating from Cardozo in the next year.

Woo hoooo it's a celebration bitches. Free legal advice on me!
