CNBC'S Silicon Valley Bureau Chief, Jim Goldman, is Stupid

Jim Goldman says to buy a Mac instead of a PC. Jim Goldman is an idiot.

I can understand if you want to buy a Mac over a PC for a legitimate reason (or vice versa). But don't buy one for the reasons Jim Goldman says above, because he is a flat out LIAR.

He claims that a PC will need about $600 worth of extra equipment to run as well as a Mac. Which is complete horse crap. He says you need to buy photoshop, which is apparently included in a Mac (obviously, not true). He goes on to say there is a ton of features you need that are included in a Mac but you have to pay for with a PC. Most of the stuff is totally bogus and you can get free anti-virus, free iTunes, free Picasa.

Talk about irresponsible reporting.

Dear CNBC, next time you want to compare PCs vs Macs call a tech blogger instead of your Silicon Valley Bureau Chief.

The one thing I will agree on is that "Once you go Mac, you don't go back."
