A few days ago, 15-year-old Chantelle Steadman gave birth to the baby Maisie. Allegedly, the father is 13-year-old Alfie Patten.
Here's the controversy: Other teenage boys have come forward to claim that the baby is their's! Rumors in the London tabloids say that Chantelle was sleeping with as many as 8 different teenage boys around the time she got knocked up! One boy is 16-year old Richard Goodsell and another is 14-year-old Tyler Barker [The Sun]

Here's what four-foot nothing Alfie had to say about that: "Other stupid boys are lying, saying bad things, like they have slept with Chantelle too.
"But I am the only boyfriend she has had and we've been together for two years, so I must be the dad.
"When she found out she was having a baby, I asked her 'Am I the dad?' and she went 'Yeah' so I believe her.
"I didn't know about DNA tests before, but Mum explained it's when they do a swab in your mouth and it tells you if you're the dad.
"So, if I have that, they can all shut up. But I don't really care what people say. And I don't like them being bad about Chantelle." [Telegraph]
I don't know what's worse all the young teenage unprotected sex or the fact that all the parents of these kids back up their kid's stories. Ridiculous!
Today, amid all this controvery:
LONDON (AP) -- The spokesman for a 13-year-old who reportedly fathered a child says a DNA test will be performed to identify the dad for certain.
Want more? Well, it turns out that in the picture above, the "couple" are playing the video game Saints Row II. That game is for people (adults) over the age of 18. Obviously it is too late to tell their parents...

You're right--here in the US we would say she's SKANKY! And why on earth would this young boy's father/parents go public without insisting on a DNA test? I suspect it's for the same reason there was a complete lack of parental supervision, leading to this pregnancy---Poor judgment! While it may not be politically correct to say it, morals and good judgment DO matter. Appreciate your blog!
