That's the word from Apple today. The Apple App store has reached (and by now surpassed it)500 million downloads after being open for only 6 months. It is pretty impressive considering it took 2 years for the iTunes store to cross the 500 million mark. Not to mention the fact that not everyone has an iPhone. [Engadget]
