Martellus Bennet has been fined 1 game (about $22,000) by the Dallas Cowboys for his rap video that was posted on YouTube. No, it was not removed because he is a bad rapper, but because he takes shots at other players, including Dallas QB Tony Romo. The video has since been removed from YouTube. Hmmm... what's a word that rhymes with Romo? I bet that was a tough one to come up with. [Dallas Morning News]
Meanwhile Tony Romo is nailing Jessica Simpson. How's that for homo? But wait! Looks like Romo might be under Simpson's sheets,...but with another girl not named Jessica Simpson. According to an article in Star Magazine. After Jessica Simpson left town to do some promo work, in which she looks HUGE (not in any good way), Tony had a house party at 'his place.' Turned out that his place was actually Jessica's place (it was pretty obvious from the records on the walls). And while people were partying it up at Jessica's house, without Jessica there, Romo was supposedly having his own private party with a lady friend, again not named Jessica Simpson, upstairs. [SCP]
In news away from the mess that is the Dallas Cowboys, the Tamba Bay Buccaneers have hired Boston College coach Jeff Jagodzinski as their offensive coordinator. If you remember, BC had told J.J. that if he went to interview with the Jets head coaching position, he would get fired. He did and they fired him. Now he has a job in the NFL and BC has replaced a coach that helped them get to muliple bowl games. Not to mention produced this years NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Matt Ryan. [ESPN]
