If you're a driver in the state of Florida here is your reward for winning a lawsuit against the state. Florida apparently sold off the private information of it's resident drivers such as driver's photos, names, addresses and social security numbers to make over $100 million which violates federal law. The class action lawsuit was filed by 5 law firms.
The suit was settled today and as a result, every registered Florida driver will receive $1. Meanwhile the 5 law firms will split $3 Million for the work they put in on the case.
