Ed Reed was the only unanimous choice for the 2008 AP All-Pro team, and rightfully so. No offense to James Harrison, but why was Ed Reed not chosen as the AP Defensive Player of the Year? Reed had 9 interceptions this season alone for over 200 yards. He ran back 2 of them for touchdowns, with three total turnovers returned for a touchdown. In his career, he has 12 interceptions returned for a touchdown and over 1,000 yards on the returns. You want a "game changer" on the defensive end of the ball, Ed Reed can take your team from about to go down 7 points to up 14. A little like this:
