Bill Richardson Withdraws Nomination

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has decided to withdraw his nomination for Secretary of Commerce for the incoming Barack Obama Administration due to a pending investigation into a company that deals with the state of New Mexico.

Barack Obama accepted the request by Richardson with regret.

Richardson says that he and his administration have done nothing wrong and this investigation will prove that, but until that happens, he won't be moving on up.

Man o man if Obama doesn't already have enough on his plate, this might just give him a stroke. I mean war, economy, healthcare, Blagojevich, the new IL senator battle that will ensue,... and now this. All before he is even inaugurated.

I'm no longer expecting change in the next four years. I'm expecting to go back to normal.
