Sources tell ESPN that the Patriots will not let QB Matt Cassell become a free agent in March. They intend on signing him to a contract and make him a franchise player. If all is well with Tom Brady, then maybe they will trade him.If Tom isn't in great shape however, then the Pats will turn to Cassell to lead the team.
